Working continuously on a task is always difficult for me. I need to stick with it and finish it on time at any cost. But it is always so tiring to sit for consecutive hours and do the tedious work.
This week I learned the Pomodoro technique in the online course that gave me the solution to this problem. I try to apply that technique while working. I had a task to finish. Well, my assignment was quite lengthy as I have to illustrate a story. Before starting my work, I had to think of the characters, write a storyline, create scenes, and other minor details.
That was all so overwhelming for me, but I have to complete it. So I set a timer of 25 minutes and started working. I have already sketched the characters, so I immediately start drawing them digitally. After 25 minutes, I created the characters. I took a 5-minute break and watched some videos. I repeat this method all over again. When I have four ticks on my page, I took a 15-minute break. After consecutive 6 hours, I finished my assignment.
At that time, I realized that I was persistent in working. When I submitted my work, I was thrilled that I finish my work on time.

I’m not fond of taking breaks while working. It was a bit difficult to work with this method, but I tried to stick with it. In the end, I made a beautiful children’s storybook.
I learned from this experience that if I use this approach. I’ll be less tired and more productive. I will be able to finish my assignments that on time.
I found this technique helpful. Working with this technique helps me work efficiently and swiftly. I am definitely going to use this technique.
